Taking time out too fast draws us closer to the Lord. One can’t fast properly without praying as well. What a blessing to know ourself, closer to Him who loves us and ultimately there is growth in the Lord. When fast do this in secret, not telling people that we get attention, like when we give, give in secret. Matthew 6:5-6.
